DENTAL CROWN MEDICAL ALERT
I have had so many problems with my teeth and gums since I had my bi-lateral mastectomy. Many of the women have written to me and told me they are having the same problems - i.e., teeth crumbling, teeth breaking off at the gum line.
I finally did some research because my metal dental crowns hurt so much and would not stay in my mouth and seemed to be eating away the base tooth to which they are attached.
Here is what I found!
According to the supplier to the dental laboratory of my previous dentist the following ingredients and their percentages for metal crowns per the manufacturer of raw materials supplied to a dental laboratory who make the dental crowns.
75%
Nickel
15% Chromium
7% Molybdenum
3% Aluminum
2%
Beryllium
I did a bit of research on the web and this is just a brief part of the information I found.
Heavy metal toxicity is frequently the result of long term, low level exposure to pollutants common in our environment, air, water, food, and numerous consumer products. Exposure to toxic metals is associated with many chronic diseases. Recent research has found that even low levels of lead, mercury, cadmium, aluminum, and arsenic can cause a wide variety of health problems.

Here are links to some of this information for more detailed research, the last one is for hair analysis for toxins.
I don't know about you, but I have many crowns, or crowns that have now broken off. My only choice is to go without teeth or to have pure gold crowns. I broke off another crown at the gum line. I am grinding my teeth at night from the pain and stress in my body. I now have a night guard and am trying to become accustomed to sleeping with it. So far, I am not making it through the night. My dentist says this is part of why my crowns are breaking off at the gum line. I wake up and my teeth and my jaw hurt very much. If you want to share your experience with your teeth and metal crowns, please sign my guestbook and do not mark it private so others may learn the truth!
